Christine Tour-Sarkissian,
Partner
Christine
Tour-Sarkissian specializes in real estate law (in both
its transactional and litigation aspects), family law (in
which she is certified as a specialist by the California
State Bar) and general civil litigation. She has been in
practice since 1985, and co-founded Tour-Sarkissian Law
Offices in 1988. Christine attended the Université Francaise
De Lyon (1972 -1974). She received a B.A. (with honors)
in psychology from the University of San Francisco (1980),
a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law (1984),
and a LLM in Taxation from Golden Gate University School
of Law (2004). Admitted to practice law in California and
the District of Columbia, Christine is a member of the
Real Property and Family Law Sections of both the American
Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
Since 1995, Christine has been an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University
School of Law, where she has taught Real Estate Transactions, Real Estate Litigation,
Property, Real Estate Finance, Commercial Finance and General Civil Litigation
Practice. She is co author of California Real Estate Cases 2000, published by
California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), and has recently written articles
on mediation and Tenancy In Common Exchanges, in CEB’s Real Property Law
Reporter. Her real estate clients have included major commercial property owners,
tenants and developers, as well as homeowners' associations. She
has extensive litigation and transactional experience in the purchase and sale
of residential and commercial properties, in the drafting and negotiating of
commercial mortgage loans representing borrowers and lenders. Christine is also
a licensed real estate broker and is co-owner and founder of Amicus Realty, which
specializes in commercial and residential real estate transactions. She belongs
to the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors,
and is a Member and Candidate to the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute.
Christine’s other major field of practice is family law, where she has
the distinction of being a Certified Family Law Specialist. Her practice includes
prenuptial agreements, divorce, custody and visitation, child and spousal support,
mediation, post-judgment matters and enforcement actions. She also represents
clients involved in child kidnapping and child custody disputes both nationally
and internationally.

Partner
Paul Tour-Sarkissian specializes in international
private law, estate planning, trust law and probate (including
international estate planning), business and real estate
transactions, corporate law, and food and beverage law.
He has particular expertise in forming and advising start-ups
on behalf of domestic and foreign clients. Paul is the
author of numerous articles on restaurant law and safety,
and private international legal issues. Trained as an attorney
in both France and the United States, Paul received a diploma
in Banking and Law (1978) and a Masters in Law (1979) from
Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France, an MBA in
Banking and Finance from Golden Gate University (1982),
a J.D. from University of San Francisco School of Law (1985),
and a Master of Laws in Taxation (with honors) from Golden
Gate University School of Law (2003). Admitted to practice
law in California and New York, Paul is a member of the
ABA, and the State Bars of California and New York. He
co-founded the Tour-Sarkissian Law Offices in 1988.
Paul has been appointed by the Consulate General of France in San
Francisco as one of its two official legal advisors (“avocat
conseil”). In this capacity, he represents numerous individuals
and companies from France and other European countries. To better serve
its clients, Tour-Sarkissian Law Offices has established a correspondent
office in Paris with the firm of Jean-Pierre Coutard and Associates.
Paul's clients also include many non-profit organizations throughout
the Bay Area. He represented the Council of Armenian American Organizations
of Northern California throughout its successful efforts to purchase
and maintain the Mount Davidson Cross in San Francisco.
Mary S. FitzPatrick, Associate
Mary is a recent graduate of the Golden Gate University
School of Law's LL.M. program in taxation. She received
her B.A., with honors, from Ohio University in
Athens Ohio and her J.D., with highest honors,
from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Mary was
a law review senior editor and externed in the U.S Ninth
Circuit Court of Appeals, for the Hon. Maria-Elena James
in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of
California, and for the Hon. John Munter in the Superior
Court of the State of California, San Francisco. Mary joined
Tour-Sarkissian Law Offices in 2006 as an associate. She
is a member of the State Bar of California and the Bay
Area Young Tax Lawyers.
Kerrie Donovan, Associate
Kerrie Donovan practices civil litigation, real estate and family law.
She received a B.A. in English Literature, in 2002, from Santa Clara
University, and her Juris Doctorate in 2005 from Golden Gate University,
School of Law. Ms. Donovan is also an Adjunct Professor of Legal
Writing and Research at Golden Gate University School of Law, where she
teaches first year writing and research. She has also served as an
Associate Editor of the Legal Writing Institute Journal since 2006.
Ms. Donovan joined the Tour-Sarkissian Law Offices in 2007. She is a
member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and
the San Francisco Bar Association.
Phil Foster, Associate
Phil Foster earned his B.A from the University of Iowa and graduated from Golden Gate University Law School where he taught Property and Real Estate Transactions as a teaching assistant for Professor Roger Bernhardt. Phil passed the February 2008 California Bar Examination and is in the process of being admitted to practice law in California.

Mevi
Mr. Edward Mevi was admitted to the California Bar in 1972. He received
a B.A. in 1966, from San Francisco State University, and a Juris
Doctorate in 1971 from Hastings College of the Law, University of
California. Mr. Mevi is a member of the Order of the Coif, Thurston
Society, and the Accounting Honor Society. Mr. Mevi is a member of the
State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Lawyer's
Club of San Francisco. In addition, he is admitted to the U.S. District
Courts for the Northern District, Southern District, Eastern District,
and the Court of Appeal for the Ninth District. Mr. Mevi's areas of

Didier J. Jaubert is a French attorney with extensive knowledge of international legal and business systems, specializing in Commercial Law, Commercial Litigation, International Investments and International Real Estate.
Didier received a Bachelor of Arts in Civil and Commercial Law and
a Master's Degree of Law in Civil and Commercial Litigation from
the Université de Provence-Aix, in Marseille, France. As a junior
attorney with Doise, Coutard & Associates in Paris, Didier practiced law, specializing in commercial litigation, foreign investments, and corporate and labor law. He published an article in the Journal of the Law Society of Scotland entitled "Liability of Directors under French Law", 1985 and was awarded the Eurolawyer 1985 by the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. While with Doise, Coutard & Associates, Didier founded a start-up company specializing in real estate, business transfers, and sales of pharmacies.
In 1990 he founded Jaubert & Associates, a firm specializing in the recovery of debts, commercial and civil litigation, liquidations and public auctions.
In 2002 Didier moved to California and became the founder, president
and managing partner of a fine food distribution company, Sonoma
Saveurs, a company supplying duck meat products to top restaurants
in California and United States, and a French bistro in the California
Wine Country which received national press recognition (The Wine
Enthusiast, The New York Times, The Wine Spectator) and is rated
26/30 in the Zagat Survey 2005.
In 2004 Didier Jaubert became the correspondent attorney of Tour-Sarkissian
Law Offices and has been practicing law in France in the fields of
real estate law, litigation, collection, and business transactions.

Laurie Gondreau
Laurie
has been a legal assistant and a paralegal since 2003. Laurie received
her paralegal certificate in 2005 from San Francisco City College.
She has worked in the areas of Family Law, Personal Injury, and General
Civil Litigation. She pursued studies in Business Administration at
the University of Wisconsin, and has an Associate Arts Degree from
City College of San Francisco. Laurie has an extensive experience in
the hospitality and restaurant industries. Laurie is a member of NALA
(National Association of Legal Assistants) and SFPA (San Francisco
Paralegal Association)
